Under Dewdney the Chargers won their first ever GNAC playoff game defeating the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) in the GNAC Quarterfinals before falling in the GNAC Semifinals to Emmanuel. The Chargers appeared in the conference championship for just the third time in program history. Dewdney was named NAC Coach of the Year after guiding the team to a very successful 2018 campaign. She coached the NAC Player of the Year (Nicole Lavigne), the NAC Rookie of the Year (Briana Couture) and the NAC Defensive Player of the Year (Kailyn Lapham).
