2023: Turpel made 12 starts for the Chargers while making six more appearances off the bench in 2023. Ian finished the year with a .167/.302/.194 (AVG/OBP/SLG) slash line with two RBI and 10 runs scored. Turpel's best game of the season came on March 16th against the University of Maine - Farmington going 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored. 

2022: Turpel was the starting second baseman for the Chargers in 2022 starting 36 of the 37 games. Ian finished the year slashing .270/.383/.351 (AVG/OBP/SLG) with a team-best 27 runs scored, 14 RBIs, seven doubles, a triple and a team-leading eight stolen bags. Turpel was solid defensively ending the year with 66 putouts, 57 assists and a .984 fielding percentage. The junior captain's best stretch of the season came from March 16 - March 19, hitting safely in six-straight games. Turpel finished the stretch 11-for-23 (.478) with seven RBIs, seven runs scored, two doubles and a pair of stolen bases. 

2021: Turpel started three games for the Chargers in the 2021 shortened season. Turpel finished 4-for-10 on the season with an RBI, run scored and a stolen base. 

2020: Turpel earned the starting job at shortstop in his first season. He hit .323 and was second on the team with 10 hits and seven runs. Turpel also was a perfect 3-for-3 in stolen bases in the shortened 2020 season. 

PRIOR TO COLBY-SAWYER: Graduate of Cohasset High School, where Turpel was a four-sport athlete participating in cross country, track & field, wrestling and baseball. On the baseball field Turpel was a SSL All-Star, while also being a Robin Division Champion. In cross country Turpel was a four-time South Shore League All-Star and a two-time SSL Champion. Turpel also holds the school's 5k record. On the track Turpel was a two-time SSL All-Star.
