As a junior: Yang picked up her second-straight GNAC Player of the Year honor and also earned All-GNAC First Team Singles and All-GNAC First Team Doubles accolades. Yang was also named to the GNAC All-Academic Team and an ITA Scholar-Athlete. She was a 4-time GNAC Player of the Week during the season. Yang went a perfect 7-0 at the top singles flight and is now 13-0 in two years with the GNAC. She finished the year 16-1 overall in singles with her lone loss coming at the ITA Regional's. All of her wins were in straight sets and she dropped more than two games only once. Yang moved into t-7th in career singles wins with 49. Yang and doubles teammate Alexa Conlin completed the GNAC regular season with a perfect 7-0 doubles record at the top spot. Yang is now 14-0 in GNAC regular season doubles matches. The duo combined for an overall record of 13-1 with their lone loss coming in the semifinals of the Grass Court Doubles Tournament, held at the International Tennis Hall of Fame, to a tandem from Division I Holy Cross. Yang added three other doubles wins with Amira Eid to give her a 16-2 record on the season. Yang moved into 9th in doubles wins with 53 and is t-8th in total wins with 102.
As a sophomore: Yang was named GNAC Player of the Year, All-GNAC Singles First Team, and All-GNAC Doubles First Team. Yang received the Charger Award for Outstanding Female Athlete of the Year. She went 6-0 at No. 1 singles and 7-0 in doubles (6-0 at No. 1) in GNAC matches. Yang, who was twice named GNAC Player of the Week, won both of her singles matches and both doubles matches in the GNAC Tournament to be named Tournament MVP. She finished the season with a 16-4 singles record at the top spot, including victories over Division II players from Southern New Hampshire, Merrimack, and Saint Anselm. Yang also had 16 doubles wins. She and teammate Anna Kopituk picked up a signature win at the Grass Court Doubles Tournament held at the International Tennis Hall of Fame by defeating a tandem from Division I Holy Cross, 8-4. In the NCAA Tournament, Yang and Kopituk won 8-2 over Nichols, while Yang also won her top flight singles match 6-2, 6-0. She is now 2-0 in NCAA Tournament singles matches and 2-1 in doubles matches.
As a freshman: Yang was named NAC Rookie of the Year, All-NAC First Team, All-NAC Doubles First Team and NAC All-Tournament Team. The impressive first-year player earned all six NAC Rookie of the Week honors this season. She went 5-0 at No. 2 against conference opponents. Yang and Ashley Woodside combined for a 4-0 record in conference. The tandem picked up signature wins against Division I Holy Cross, CCC champion Nichols and GNAC champion Johnson & Wales. In the spring, Yang and Woodside were tabbed the No. 15th ranked doubles team in the Northeast Region according to the ITA. Yang picked up a doubles win and a singles win in the NCAA First Round to send the Chargers to their third-straight second round. Yang finished the season with a 17-4 singles record and a 21-5 doubles mark. Her 38 total wins is the second most in a single-season.
High School: Yang was the Yunnan Province Teenager Champion.
