Summary

Biography

As a sophomore: Viljanen was sidelined with an injury, but earned GNAC All-Academic honors. 

As a freshman: Viljanen earned 17 starts in 23 games in the field and made five relief appearances on the mound. He recorded his first collegiate hit on the first day of the season against Medaille. 

At Stowe: Viljanen was a three-year varsity member of the baseball, soccer and hockey teams for the Raiders. He was named to the Mountain League Baseball First Team three times. He helped the soccer team to three state championship titles. In hockey, he was a first-team goalie, an all-state goalie, played in the Essex Rotary game and the Make-a-Wish game. Viljanen is a member of the National Honor Society.
