Colby-Sawyer Athletics

As a senior: Walker raced in six races in her final season. She began the year with a season best finish of 19th at the inaugural Charger Invitational. She added a 26th place to help the team finish second at the Keene State Invitational. Walker was named to the GNAC All-Academic Team. 

As a junior: Walker competed in three races in 2017. She posted her best result at the NAC Championship. Walker finished in 32nd with a time of 24:03.6 as Colby-Sawyer claimed its fourth-straight conference title. 

As a sophomore: Walker had her highest finish of the season at the NAC Championship. She placed 36th in a time of 25:25.2 to help the Chargers claim their third straight conference title. Earlier in the season, Walker finished 47th in a season best time of 23:15 at the Keene State Invitational where Colby-Sawyer was the runner-up. 

As a freshman: Walker had a solid first season with the Chargers and recorded three top-27 finishes. In the first race of the season, the freshman placed 23rd as the team finished second out of seven. The next week, Walker had her best finish of the season by placing 13th to help Colby-Sawyer to win the Pilgrim Invitational. She then finished 27th to help the Chargers secure their second straight NAC Championship. 

At Portsmouth: Shae-Lyn was on the cross country, indoor track and lacrosse teams for the Clippers. She is a member of the National Honor Society.
