Biography

AT COLBY-SAWYER
2021:
Murph was a difference maker from the start for the Chargers starting all 20 games for Colby-Sawyer in 2021. Aleah finished the year with one goal and four assists, while making three defensive saves. Murph scored her first collegiate goal on October 9th, netting the game-winner at Albertus Magnus College. Murph's best game of the season was against Keene State on September 8th dishing out two assists and making a defensive save as the Chargers picked up a big 5-4 win. Murph was named to the GNAC All-Conference Second Team as well as being recognized as a member of the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) 2021 Division III National Academic Squad scoring above a 3.3 or higher cumulative grade point average throughout the first semester of the 2021 academic year. Murph ends her first season ranked tied for third all-time in defensive saves (3). 

PRIOR TO COLBY-SAWYER: Graduate of Derring High School and was a Maine All-State and All-Conference member in high school. Murph was also a senior captain. Murph spent her first year at Castleton University, however the team did not participate due to COVID-19.
