BOSTON, Mass. – The Colby-Sawyer College women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision (16-25, 13-25, 16-25) to Emmanuel College in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play on Tuesday evening at the Jean Yawkey Center.

Colby-Sawyer came out swinging efficiently in the opening frame, recording eight kills and hitting .207. Liv Chandonnait (Belmont, N.H.) and Addy Sasnett (Virginia Beach, VA.) paced the Chargers with a combined five of the eight kills.

Emmanuel carried its offensive rhythm straight into the second set, converting 15 kills on 30 swings. The Chargers had another seven kills in the second set, this time from Bree Bacon (Brookline, Mass.) and Kamryn Brakemeier (Keller, Texas) who both had a pair each.

The Chargers battled back in the third set behind a pair of late blocks and eight kills. Sasnett and Chandonnait continued to pace the Chargers with a couple kills each, however it was Emmanuel who took the third set.
Inside the Numbers:

Sophomore Addison Sasnett and first-year Liv Chandonnait paced the Chargers' front line with six kills apiece.

Chandonnait also contributed two service aces, two blocks, and three digs in an all-around effort.

Junior Kamryn Brakemeier posted three kills, a match-high four service aces, five digs, and an assist.

Senior setter Bree Bacon orchestrated the offense with a team-high 17 assists to go along with five digs and a block.

Sophomore Claire Rocky led Colby-Sawyer's presence at the net with three total blocks.

Senior Alexis Mandrino and Sophomore Jules Larock matched Brakemeier with a team-best five digs each on the back row.
