STANDISH, MAINE - The Colby-Sawyer men's lacrosse team hit the road for the first time this season to take on the Saint Joseph's College of Maine Monks. 

Rapid Recap:

• First year goalkeeper Jackson Cleveland (Falmouth, Maine) faced a bunch of shots early in the first quarter from the Monks where he was able to tally three saves. The Chargers were able to also grab three ground balls in the first quarter as well.
• Three more different Chargers grabbed ground balls in the second quarter, as the defense led by Graduate Student Nathan Marquis (Weare, N.H.) try and limit the Monks offense. Cleveland would pick up three more saves to head into the half with six. 
• Cleveland would pick up another four saves in the third quarter while Ben Post (Manchester, Conn.) would pick up his second ground ball of the game to lead the Chargers through three. Evan Thomas (Sudbury, VT.) would take a shot in the third which was saved by Monks keeper, Sean Cushing.

Inside the Numbers:

• Brandon Cavicchi would lead the Monks with seven goals. 
• James Masterson (North Kingstown, R.I.) would lead the Chargers with two shots, while Post led in ground balls. 
• Cleveland would tally 10 saves.

The Chargers return home on Saturday, March 28th at 1pm against Emmanuel College.
