Carrabassett Valley, ME – The Colby-Sawyer women's alpine skiing team kicked off the season this weekend at the Colby Carnival at Sugarloaf.

Jacklyn Tracy (Epping, NH) finished 28th overall in the slalom with a time of 50.44 in Run 1 and 50.8 in Run 2, for a total time of 1:41.24. Tracy earned 16 EISA points in the slalom. On Day 2, Tracy finished 35th overall in the giant slalom. Tracy produced a time of 1:16.34 in Run 1 and 1:17.93 in Run 2 for a total time of 2:34.27. Tracy earned 11 EISA points in the giant slalom.

Maren Elvidge (Steamboat Springs, CO) finished 31st overall in the slalom with a time of 52.56 in Run 1 and 51.14 in Run 2, for a total time of 1:43.70. Elvidge earned 13 EISA points in the slalom. In the giant slalom Elvidge finished 34th overall. Elvidge raced a time of 1:14.88 in Run 1 and 1:18.29 in Run 2 for a total time of 2:33.17. Elvidge earned 12 EISA points in the giant slalom.

Ashley Garside (Silver Lake, NH) finished 33rd overall in the slalom. Garside skied a time of 54.25 in Run 1 and 55.17 in Run 2 for a total time of 1:49.42. Garside earned 11 EISA points in the slalom. Garside finished 36th overall in the giant slalom. Garside produced a time of 1:18.16 in Run 1 and 1:21.41 in Run 2 for a total time of 2:39.57. Garside earned 10 EISA points in the giant slalom.
