WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TAKES ON EMMANUEL TO OPEN CONFERENCE PLAY

New London, NH – The Colby-Sawyer women's basketball team will travel to Boston on Saturday as they kick off conference play against Emmanuel. 

The Chargers were victorious on Wednesday against Mount Holyoke College, as five Chargers scored double-digits. Colby-Sawyer has scored 55+ points in two of the last three games. 

This will be the first game of 2026 for the Saints, as they closed out 2025 winning three of their last four games. The Saints have scored 70+ points in four of their last seven games. 

The Chargers:  

  • Emily Leonard (Chester, NH) – The first year guard scored 10 points on Wednesday and is averaging 10.5 points per game.  

  • Taylor Fellows (Croydon, NH) – The first year guard is coming off a career-high 16-point performance on Wednesday. 

  • Elyza Mitchell (Spofford, NH) – The senior forward is averaging 11.9 points per game and 7.9 points per game. Mitchell scored 11 points on Wednesday. 

The Saints: 

  • Tyra Blye – The sophomore forward is averaging 14.4 points per game. 

  • Megan Reilly – The senior forward is averaging five rebounds per game. 

  • Lia Krumian – The sophomore guard is averaging 7.7 points per game and is leading the Saints in minutes played. 

The Historical Matchup: 

The Saints won the matchup when the two played against each other last season. This will be the 8th meeting between the two teams in Boston, and the 12th all-time matchup. 

Up Next: 

After this match, the Chargers will take on Dean on Saturday, January 17th at the Hogan Sports Center.
