New London N.H. – The Colby-Sawyer women's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw against Keene State under the new lights at Sally Shaw Veitch field on Tuesday night.

Maddy Minckler (Claremont, N.H.) took the first shot of the game for the Chargers in the 14th minute. Both teams had opportunities to score in the first half, but it was the defending that took center stage in the first 45.

Just under 10 minutes into the second half, Lauren Ardolino (Milford, Conn.) opened the scoring for the Chargers, putting the home side up 1-0.

"Working with my team and communicating, just working off them and trying to find the back of the net", said Ardolino after scoring her 4th goal of the season and helping the Chargers on both sides of the ball in the 1-1 draw.
