Orlando, Fla. - The Colby-Sawyer women's tennis team dropped both contests on Tuesday falling to the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse Eagles 7-0 and William Smith Herons 5-2.
Rapid Recap Game 1:
- The Eagles would claim in the opening point in doubles action as they swept all three doubles positions.
- In singles action, the Eagles would sweep all six singles positions. First-year Skylar Jara (South Hamilton, Mass.) fought hard but ultimately fell 5-7, 6-3, 7-10 at number two, while sophomore Maria Espinosa Lopez (Merida, Mexico) battled through a tough match, losing 6-2, 3-6, 1-10. The Eagles would claim the 7-0 win with their singles sweep.

- The Herons of William Smith College would claim in the opening point Sunday evening in doubles as singles action would be postponed to Tuesday afternoon due to a rain delay.
- The Chargers would resume singles action on Tuesday afternoon as first-year Skylar Jara (South Hamilton, Mass.) claimed a 7-5, 6-4 win at number two and sophomore Maria Espinosa Lopez (Merida, Mexico) claimed a 6-3, 6-3 win at number three. The Herons would pick up wins at the one, four, five, and six singles positions to pick up the 5-2 win over the Chargers.
