New London, NH – The Colby-Sawyer men's indoor track & field team will open their season on Saturday at the Suffolk Relays in Boston, Massachusetts. 

The Chargers are looking to build off last season where the team finished fourth at the GNAC Championship. A large group of newcomers will be present and hungry to help the team alongside a strong returning group. 

Here are three returners for the Chargers, looking to contribute to a strong season: 

• Evan Vitagliano (Groton, CT) – Vitagliano will look to build off a strong Cross-Country season where he finished 5th in the GNAC Championship, running a 27:35 in the 8k. 

• Matthew Gaudioso (Branford, CT) – Gaudioso finished 5th at last season's GNAC Championship in the Shotput by throwing 11.34m. In the same meet, Gaudioso finished 7th in the Triple Jump, by jumping 11.34m. 

• Mason Sayers (Lanesborough, MA) – Sayers finished 4th in the 60m at last season's GNAC Championship meet by running 7.24. Sayers ran a 24:11 to finish 8th in the 200m at the same meet. 

Looking Ahead: 

After Saturday, the Chargers will compete again next Saturday at Dartmouth College for the Dartmouth Winter Meet.
