NASHUA, N.H. - The Colby-Sawyer women's field hockey team headed an hour south east to take on Rivier under the light Tuesday evening where they would come home with a 3-0 victory.
Rapid Recap:
- The Chargers got on the board early by leading goal scorer Abby Olden (Belchertown, Mass.) who found a goal early off a double assist from Sophomore, Aili Carney (Derry, N.H.) and Senior, Sabrina Lippold (Windham, N.H.) right before the end of the first period to take a 1-0 lead.
- The Chargers saw Olden put another goal in just 44 second into the second period to give the Chargers a 2-0 lead. This goal by Olden came off an assist from First Year, Brooke Farquhar (Gorham, Maine).
- Farquhar would score the third and final goal for the Chargers as Olden returns the favor on the assist earlier as she provides the assist to Farquhar's goal to give the Chargers a 3-0 win!
- Ashlee Blashock got the start in goal today again, recorded her second straight career shutout with four saves to make her case. She picks up her second career win to help lead the Chargers in goal!

Abby Olden mark her sixth and seventh goals of the season, which currently leads the team.
Aili Carney and
Brooke Farquhar pick up their third assists of the season each which also leads the team.
Sabrina Lippold picks up her first assist of the season as well. Blashock is now 2-2 in goal for the Chargers as she has now recorded two shutouts in both victories.
