CHARGERS FALL TO NICHOLS COLLEGE

DUDLEY, MASS. – The Charger women's tennis team dropped their match with Nichols College on Wednesday falling by a 5-2 margin.
Rapid Recap:
  • The Bison swept doubles to claim the opening point, with the best performance in doubles coming from senior Elise Hogan (Duxbury, Mass.) and first-year Skylar Jara (South Hamilton, Mass.) in number one doubles falling 6-4.
  • In singles action, Hogan held on in number three singles to win by a 6-4, 6-4 margin, while graduate student Mary Thoms (Northwood, N.H.) claimed a 6-3, 6-4 final at the number six singles slot. The Chargers fell short in the rest of the singles play to fall to the Bison on the road.

The Chargers return to action on Sunday as they travel to Boston, Massachusetts to take on Emerson College with a 12 PM start time.
