Chargers Finish in 14th at EISA Regionals

TOdMIDDLEBURY, Vt. – The Colby-Sawyer alpine skiing team finished their season on Saturday in the giant slalom event. 

Rapid Recap (Slalom):
  • On Friday the women's team saw one finish from graduate student Caity Regrut (Telluride, Colo.) who placed 41st with a time of 1:54.00 earning eight EISA points. 
  • The men's side also saw one finisher with senior Chesley Smith (Stowe, Vt.) place 42nd with a time of 1:40.29 earning ten EISA points. 
Rapid Recap (Giant Slalom):
  • The Chargers saw no finishers on Saturday as the team saw DNQ in the majority of their second runs. 
Post Carnival Press:
"Today was a great day for the Chargers!" Said graduate student Caity Regrut (Telluride, Colo.). "/there was solid skiing all around this weekend with extremely stacked races. It was a very special weekend to celebrate the college careers of my teammates. Super happy to see the progress we all made throughout the season, and I am trilled I could finish my career with my favorite people! These past four carnival seasons have been filled with great memories I will cherish forever!"
