MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – The Colby-Sawyer alpine skiing team celebrated senior day competing in day one of the EISA in the slalom event.
Rapid Recap (Slalom):
- On Friday the women's team saw one finish from graduate student Caity Regrut (Telluride, Colo.) who placed 41st with a time of 1:54.00 earning eight EISA points.
- The men's side also saw one finisher with senior Chesley Smith (Stowe, Vt.) place 42nd with a time of 1:40.29 earning ten EISA points.

"Even though conditions were challenging, the hill provided some fast and fun slalom skiing for the whole team," senior
Chesley Smith (Stowe, Vt.) explained. "Caity and I were able to take advantage of two fast courses and ski aggressively both runs! Tomorrow the seniors will be racing in their final carnival and we are excited and ready to go out there, have fun, and. leave it all on the hill...I can not imagine a better group of seniors to finish my ski racing career with!"
