Chargers Compete at WIlliams College

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Colby-Sawyer alpine skiing team finished up the Williams College Carnival on Saturday at Jiminy Peak. 

Rapid Recap (Giant Slalom):
  • The men's team saw one finisher on Friday with Sophomore Jackson Musial (Bartlett, N.H.) finishing 49th with a time of 1:39.74 earning four EISA points. 
Rapid Recap (Slalom):
  • On Saturday the men's team saw two finishers in the Slalom with senior Chesley Smith (Stowe, Vt.) and senior Jared Marshall (Denmark, Maine) finishing 33rd and 34th. Smith earning a time of 1:39.77 and nine EISA points and Marshall with a time of 1:43.90 and eight EISA points. 
  • The women saw five finishers with three earning EISA points. Graduate student Caity Regrut (Telluride, Colo.) paced the Chargers earning a 42nd place finish with a time of 1:53.35, earning five EISA points. Direclty behind Regrut was senior Abigial Larrabee (Durham, Calif.) who finished in 43rd with a time of 1:53.78 earning four EISA points. The last finisher to earn EISA points for the Chargers was sophomore Maren Elvidge (Steamboat Springs, Colo.) with a 44th place finish registering a time of 1:55.79 and three EISA points.
