NEW LONDON, N.H. - The Colby-Sawyer women's soccer team came away with non conference 0-0 tie Wednesday afternoon against the Salem St. University Lady Vikings.

- The Chargers controlled most of the possession right from kickoff driving down the field trying to set up their leading goal scorer Bridget O'Connell (Peabody, Mass.) who had multiple opportunities to score, stopped by the Vikings goal keeper.
- Chargers goalie Gabriela Calidonio (Flagler Beach, Fla.) produced 8 saves on 9 shots by the Lady Vikings to hold the tie and secure her second shutout of the season.
- Sam Bishop (Windham, N.H.) helped try to put the Chargers on top with a goal herself, ripping shots from outside the 18 for 5 shots in the game with 3 of those being on target.
- Halle Pletzer (Barre, Vt.) tried to make it four straight games with a goal, ripping 4 shots in the game, one coming from about 25 yards out where she scored against NEC the week prior.
Inside The Numbers:
- The Chargers ripped 20 shots marking the third game this season where they surpassed the 20 mark.
- Calidonio's shutout is the 3rd one she has been apart of, but just the second where she has played the whole game.
