NORTHFIELD, VT. - The Colby-Sawyer women's soccer team traveled to Northfield, Vermont Wednesday evening and came to a 3-3 draw with the Cadets.

- The Chargers brought the offensive intensity early in the first half with first-year Kate Vasconcelos (Woodsville, N.H.) and senior Bridget O'Connell (Peabody, Mass.) firing back-to-back shots on target, but Norwich goalkeeper Hannah Jenkins made key saves for the Cadets. The Cadets got the first goal of the game 10 minutes into the half, but the Chargers continued to stay on the attack. Junior Lauren McKee (Littleton, N.H.) fired another shot on target but Jenkins remained tough in the net. The Chargers and Cadets traded shots back and forth throughout the half and in the 40th minute graduate student Sam Bishop (Windham, N.H.) found the back of the net to even the score to 1-1. Just minutes later the Cadets would score their second goal of the game and took the lead 2-1 heading into the half.
- The Chargers continued their offensive momentum in the second half as Bishop found the back of the net three minutes into the half tying the game at 2-2. Norwich continued to fight back firing shots of their own on target, but junior Gabriela Calidonio (Flager Beach, Fla.) made big saves for the Chargers. The Cadets continued their offensive pressure and found the back of the net in the 67th minute to give the home team the 3-2 lead over the Chargers. O'Connell continued to fire shots on target, but Norwich goalkeeper Michaela Dubey made key saves to give the Cadets the lead. The Chargers capitalized on a Cadet mistake to tie the game at 3-3 with two minutes remaining. The Chargers and Cadets traded shots back in forth, but neither team was able to find a goal of their own.
