- The Chargers brought the offensive pressure early with shots from senior Bridget O'Connell (Peabody, Mass.), but Sharks goalkeeper Mikaela Marie Javar made big saves to keep the score at 0-0. The Chargers continued on the attack with shots by senior Halle Pletzer (Barre, Vt.), first-year Eve Van Wickler (Sturbridge, Mass.), and O'Connell, but were unable to find the back of the net. Simmons would strike first and scored the first goal of the game in the 44th minute to give the home team the 1-0 lead heading into the half.
- The Chargers came out fighting in the second half as graduate student Sam Bishop (Windham, N.H.), first-year Maddy Minckler (Claremont, N.H.), and O'Connell all fired shots, but Javar made key saves for the Sharks. O'Connell found the back of the net late in the second half to tie the game up 1-1. Pletzer and O'Connell tried to give the Chargers the 2-1 lead, but Javar remained tough in the net. The Sharks would also go on the attack late in the second half, but key saves by junior Gabriella Calidonio (Flager Beach, Fla.) kept the score at 1-1 as the whistle blew, ending the game.

- The Chargers outshot the Sharks 15-8 with 6-4 shots on target differential.
- Calidonio played the full 90 minutes in the net and recorded three saves.
- The Chargers picked up their fourth tie of the season and improve to 4-2-4 in conference play.
