Chargers Season Ends in Defeat to MIT

Box Score CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Colby-Sawyer Chargers women's tennis season concluded in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday falling by a 5-0 final to MIT. 

Rapid Recap:
  • The Chargers battled hard but were unable to get a point in doubles. Sophomore Grace Carpenter (Milford, N.H.) and sophomore Elise Hogan (Duxbury, Mass.) picked up the lone set win falling by a 8-1 margin. 
  • In singles action the Engineers picked up wins in the second and fourth singles slots to pick up the victory.

The Chargers season ends with a 13-8 overall record, Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship and a NCAA Tournament win.
