SALEM, Mass.
– The Colby-Sawyer men's tennis team defeated Salem State University on Sunday afternoon by a 7-2 final.

- The Chargers picked up two wins in the doubles matches with first year Zsombor Homonnay (Dunakeszi, Hungary) and sophomore Aidan Jensen (Essex, Vt.) getting an 8-7 victory in number one doubles. In number three doubles, first year Peyton Meuse (Newport, N.H.) and senior Cohl Schusler (Bradford, N.H.) secured an 8-4 win to put Colby-Sawyer ahead 2-1.
- In singles action, the Chargers earned victories in the number 2-6 slots with dominant performances by first year Peyton Meuse (Newport, N.H.) and senior Kham Savatdy (Woonsocket, R.I.) to earn the 7-2 victory over the Vikings.
Athlete Spotlight:
"We all fought hard today," said senior
Cohl Schusler (Bradford, N.H.). "It's nice to play outside again, and while we had to adjust to the wind and other factors, we pulled through today with a great win. We're happy with the way this match went and we're looking forward to playing Eastern Nazarene this coming Saturday."
