ORLANDO, Fla. – The Colby-Sawyer men's tennis team dropped a pair of contests on Tuesday. The Chargers started the day dropping a contest to Transylvania University by a 6-3 final before losing to Illinois Wesleyan University by a 5-4 final at night.

• The Chargers failed to capture a doubles win against Transylvania before getting singles wins by first year Ashton Meuse (Newport, N.H.), Peyton Meuse (Newport, N.H.) and senior Kham Savatdy (Woonsocket, R.I.). P. Meuse had the best showing the first match with a 6-2, 6-2 victory in number four singles.
• In the second match the Chargers were trailing 2-1 after doubles action. First year Zsombor Homonnay (Dunakeszi, Hungary) and sophomore Aiden Jensen (Essex, Vt.) picked up a 8-7 win in number one doubles for the lone point. In singles action Jensen, A. Meuse and P. Meuse each added wins, but came up just short.

The Chargers will play against Ithica College on Wednesday with a 6:00 PM start.
