WELLESLEY, Mass. – The Colby-Sawyer men's swimming and diving team wrapped up the first day of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championships on Friday night placing in fourth place out of five teams so far.
Rapid Recap Day 1:
- The Chargers started the day ranking in fourth place in the 200 yard medley relay as first year Parker Hilton (Hudson, N.H.), first year Travis Pendleton (Webster, N.H.), first year Kadin Braley (Pittsfield, Maine) and first year Tristen Leys (Minot, ND) hit the wall at a time of 1:53.96.
- Hilton picked up the first top three of the night for the Chargers finishing the men's 1000-yard freestyle at a time of 11:02.52 to score six points.
- The 400-yard relay team of Braley, Pendleton, first year Michael Gordon (Plaistow, N.H.) and Leys secured another fourth place spot at a 3:47.66 time to close the scoring of night one.
