LAKE PLACID, N.Y. - The Colby-Sawyer men's alpine skiing team wrapped up the giant slalom portion of the Saint Michael's carnival on Thursday that was originally scheduled for February 3rd. The men were only able to complete one run before the event was called off due to heavy fog.
Rapid Recap:
- First year Jackson Musial (Bartlett, N.H.) lead the Chargers finishing in 38th place with a time of 1:06.08.
- Junior Chesley Smith (Stowe, Vt.) followed behind coming in 51st place with his 1:07.86 first run effort.
- First year Brandon Leitner (Truckee, Calif.) finished 52nd overall after completing the first run with a time of 1:07.90.
- Taking 54th place was senior Finn Husband (Elks Rapids, Mich.) with a 1:08.12 first run.
- Junior Jared Marshall (Denmark, Maine) followed closely behind with a 56th place finish with a time of 1:09.50.
- Rounding out the Chargers with a 1:10.52 effort was first year Benjamin Neeves (Gig Harbor, Wash.) taking 57th place.
