The Lasers countered with a shot on target seven minutes in that junior Carly Bernard (Swanze, N.H.) turned away. After two more saves by Bernard the home team got on the board behind a goal by Abbey Playle in the 14th minute to give the Lasers a 1-0 headed into the second. In the tail end of the first half the Chargers got on the board as sophomore Cecilia Ponzini (Windham, N.H.) scored as time was about to expire.
