Chargers Fall to Plymouth State University

PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The Colby-Sawyer women's swimming and diving team fell to Plymouth State on Friday night losing by a 129-59 margin.

Rapid Recap:
  • Sophomore Brandy Lewis (Strafford, Vt.) picked up two victories in the meet with wins in the 100 yard breaststroke (1:16.81) and the 500 yard freestyle (5:41.11).
  • Sophomore Tess Kjoller (Osterville, Mass.) competed from the one meter diving with a score of 171.25.
  • Senior Julianna DeGray (Chicopee, Mass.) placed 3rd and 4th in the 200 and 500 freestyle events notching two personal bests.

"Our hard work is paying off", said head coach Christina Baudis. "We had so many seasons best times this afternoon as well as tremendous spirit and positive energy within the team. Can't wait to see what happens after another two weeks of tough training!"

The Chargers will be back on November 11th in a tri-match against Simmons and the University of New England.
