NEW LONDON, N.H. – The Colby-Sawyer women's swimming and diving team held its first meet on Friday night falling to Saint Joseph's (Maine) by a 130-64 final.
Rapid Recap:
- Sophomore Brandy Lewis (Strafford, Vt.) had a very successful showing for the Chargers winning the 1000 yard freestyle and the 500 yard freestyle events. Lewis ended the 1000 at a time of 12:07.06 winning by just about 45 seconds. Brandy also won the 500 yard with a time of 5:56.70.
- First year Rebecca Radonovich (Frederick, Md.) had a decent debut in the 200 yard freestyle at a time of 2:16.94 finishing in second place. Radonovich also won the 100 yard butterfly at a time of 1:08.05.
- Sophomore Tess Kjoller (Osterville, Mass.) debuted from the one meter diving board with a score of 159.83 to get all nine points.

The Chargers will head to Keene State next weekend to take part in a dual meet on October 21st with a 1:00 PM start.
