Chargers Fall Short Against Regis College

NEW LONDON, N.H. – The Colby-Sawyer men's swimming and diving team were defeated by Regis College with a final score of 119-63 on Saturday afternoon.   

Rapid Recap:
  • First year Parker Hilton (Hudson, N.H.) had two first place finishes for the Chargers in the 1,000-yard freestyle and 100-yard backstroke. Hilton also finished in third in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:40.07. 
  • In the 50-yard freestyle, first year Kadin Braley (Pittsfield, Maine) finished in first place for the Chargers with a time of 24.69. Braley also came in second place in both the 100-yard freestyle and 200-yard freestyle.  
  • First year Tristren Leys secured second place in the 100-yard butterfly in 59.10, the 50-yard butterfly in 26.15, and the 100-yard individual medley in 1:05.78. 
  • In the 50-yard backstroke, first year Michael Gordon (Plaistow, N.H.) finished in second place clocking in at 38.05. Gordon also earned a third place finish in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 1:02.91. 
Swimmer Spotlight:
"We had a heck of a meet today," said Hilton. "Can't wait to face Regis again at the GNAC Championship."
