NORTHFIELD, Vt. – The Colby-Sawyer women's swimming and diving team came up short on Saturday during their Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) meet against Norwich University with a final score of 168-114.

- Senior Mary Steward (Saco, Maine) had an impressive day after winning the 50-yard breaststroke in 35.91 and 100-yard breaststroke in 1:17.73. She also helped the Chargers secure first place finishes as a member of the 200-yard medley relay and the 400-yard freestyle relay.
- First year Brandy Lewis (Strafford, Vt.) had a strong performance for the Chargers winning the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:35.46 and the 100-yard individual medley with a time of 1:11.67. Lewis was also a member of the 400-yard freestyle relay along with senior Alyssa Brown (Douglas, Mass.), graduate student Kelsey Brown (Douglas, Mass.), and Steward.
- In the 100-yard backstroke, Brown secured first place with a time of 1:04.35. She also had a second place finish in the 50-yard butterfly clocking in at 27.99.
- Senior Nina Boudreau (Hallowell, Maine) finished second in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:07.83 and the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 1:01.64. Boudreau was also a member of the 200-yard medley relay.
- Senior Cecilia LaFlamme (Hatfield, Mass.) earned a second place finish in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 13:47.38.
- In the 50-yard backstroke, first year Erin McLean (Newton, Mass.) took third place after clocking in at 33.18. McLean finished third in the 100-yard individual medley with a time of 1:15.60.

The Chargers will prepare for the GNAC Championship Meet taking place at the Wellesley Sports Center starting on Friday, February 3rd and concluding on Sunday, February 5th.
