Box Score WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - The women's tennis team earned their second Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) win against the University of Saint Joseph on Saturday afternoon. The victory improves the Chargers conference record to 2-0.

- The Chargers got the early 3-0 advantage after the doubles round. Second doubles featuring sophomore Isabella Gutierrez (Tegucigalpa, Honduras) and sophomore Lily Tria (Westerly, R.I.) swept their match 8-0. First doubles with junior Alyssa Owens (Grain Valley, MO.) and senior captain Emily Hill (Wilmington, Mass.) as well as third doubles with sophomore Amelia Campanella (Chepachet, R.I.) and sophomore Mei Genest (Keene, N.H.) both had outstanding performances.
- The Chargers continued to dominate in the single matches with junior Mary Thoms (Northwood, N.H.) defeating her opponent in two sets with a score line of 6-1, 6-0.
- Owens, Hill, Gutierrez, Campanella, and Tria all had impressive single matches to help the Chargers sweep the Bluejays 9-0.
