WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – The Colby-Sawyer women's swimming and diving team came out strong this afternoon defeating both the University of Saint Joseph Blue Jays and the Albertus Magnus Falcons. The Chargers defeated the Blue Jays by a 124-119 margin, while defeating the Falcons by a 141-61 final.

- In the 50-yard freestyle, graduate student Kelsey Brown (Douglas, Mass.) captured first place with a time of 26.49. Brown followed up the performance winning in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:04.06.
- Senior Mary Steward (Saco, Maine) also secured first place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:16.67, while sophomore Lily Stinchfield (Sanbornville, Maine) picked up a win in the 100-yard backstroke at a time of 1:12.04.
- The Chargers also faired well in the relays winning in 200-yard medley relay and the 200-yard freestyle relay. The group of Stinchfield, Steward, Brown, and sophomore Hanna McAloon (Berkley, Mass.) were able to get first place with a time of 2:06.00 in the medley before winning the freestyle relay at a time of 1:52.28.
- First year diver Tess Kjoller (Osterville, Mass.) also secured a first place finish after earning a 198.80 score for the one-meter diving event.

"I'm very proud of the team for pushing themselves today", said graduate student Kelsey Brown (Douglas, Mass.). "As the season goes on and practices get harder, we continue to see the hard work pay off. I couldn't have asked for a better team to compete with this year and we're ready to be back in action next weekend!"
