Chargers Impress in GNAC Tri-Match

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – The Colby-Sawyer men's swimming and diving split against the University of Saint Joseph and Albertus Magnus College. The Chargers were defeated by the Blue Jays 136-71, before winning against Albertus Magnus College by a 116-0 final.   

Rapid Recap:

  • First year Parker Hilton (Hudson, N.H.) had a big day placing first in the 100-yard backstroke, 1000-yard freestyle and the 500-yard freestyle. 
  • In the 50-yard freestyle, first year Kadin Braley (Pittsfield, Maine) placed second with a time of 25.44. 
  • First year Tristen Leys (Minot, N.D.) also stood out by falling only .59 seconds short of the first place spot in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time 1:09.76.

The Chargers will head to Bangor, Maine to face the Husson University Eagles on November 19th. This meet will start at 12:00 pm.
