Chargers Debut with Big Win Against Gordon College

NEW LONDON, N.H. – The Colby-Sawyer swimming and diving team returned to competition on Saturday defeating Gordon College by a 137.5-91.5 final.

Senior Mary Steward (Saco, Maine) had a big day for the Chargers winning three events including the 100 yard breaststroke, 50 yard freestyle and 200 yard individual medley.
First year Tess Kjoller (Osterville, Mass.) debuted on the diving board scoring in first place in one meter diving with a final score of 96.40 on six dives.
First year Brandy Lewis (Strafford, Vt.) and senior Nina Boudreau (Hallowell, Maine) each added a pair of first place finishes, while first year Erin McLean (Newton, Mass.) added another first place.
