NEW LONDON, N.H. – The Colby-Sawyer College women's tennis team opened its fall season on Friday afternoon, hosting Castleton University on the Kelsey Courts. The Chargers put on quite the performance for the hometown crowd, winning in convincing fashion 9-0.
Colby-Sawyer won all three doubles matches before sweeping all six singles matches. Sophomore
Lindsay Macdonald (South Yarmouth, Mass.) did not drop a set in doubles or singles.

McDonald and her partner Elise Hogan (Duxbury, Mass.) did not drop a set in their doubles match winning (8-0). Senior Amira Eid (Pelham, N.H.) started off her final season with a doubles win with playing partner freshman Amelia Campanella (Chepachet, R.I.)
- In singles play MacDonald, Hill, Carpenter, and Eid did not drop a set, all won their match (6-0, 6-0). Hogan and Campanella both finished off their counterpart in commanding fashion (6-0, 6-1)
