NEW LONDON, N.H. – Swimming and Diving made an enormous splash in their first competitive home meet since January 2020. The Chargers defeated the Blue Jays of the University of Saint Joseph's (Conn.) 159-92 and the Falcons of Albertus Magnus College 161-90, improving their conference record to 3-0.

The women started the night strong defeating both teams in the 200 Medley Relay. The quartet of first-year
Lily Stinchfield (Sanbornville, N.H.), senior
Lauren Berry (Dracut, Mass.), junior
Nina Boudreau (Hallowell, Maine), and junior
Alyssa Brown (Douglas, Mass.) recorded a final time of 2:08.05, with the Blue Jays trailing almost five seconds behind.
Senior
Kelsey Brown (Douglas. Mass.) recorded a victory of her own during the 400 IM with an impressive finishing time of 5:00.19. K.Brown left her opponents in the dust as she touched the wall an entire 49 seconds before anyone else could.
The closest race yet was when A.Brown saw her sister's victory and raised her another during the 200 Free, defeating her opponent just .11 of a second faster.
Stinchfield and senior
Maddie Craig (Salem, N.H.) secured the top two spots in the 50 back, with the first year recording a final time of 33.21 and the senior following along with a time of 35.41.
K.Brown picked up two more individual wins in both the 50 and 100 free. Junior
Mary Steward (Saco, Maine) tagged along in the winner's circle, taking the personal victory in the 100 IM.
To end the night, the Chargers displayed some great speed during the final 800 free relays. The women managed to finish the race two and a half minutes quicker than the rest, with a collective time of 9:16.23.
