NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Colby-Sawyer College women's tennis defeated the Falcons with its sixth consecutive 9-0 shutout victory. With the victory the Chargers have clinched their first ever Great Northeastern Athletic Conference (GNAC) regular season crown and the number one seed in the conference tournament

- In doubles play, freshman Grace Carpenter (Milford, N.H.) and first year Elise Hogan (Duxbury, Mass.) recorded a doubles victory, serving up the day with an 6-2 win. Senior Amira Eid (Pelham, N.H.) and freshman Amelia Campanella (Chepachet, R.I.) notched a 8-1 victory as the #2 doubles pair. First year Lily Tria (Westerly, RI.) and first year Sarah Smith (Rindge, N.H.) closed out doubles play, picking up a 8-0 win.
- The Chargers cleaned the singles scoresheet with wins from first year Olivia Corrigan (Littleton, N.H), first year Mei Genest (Keene, N.H.), Carpenter, Hogan, Eid, and Campanella.
- The Chargers have now clinched the GNAC regular season crown for the first time in program history and have earned the #1 seed as well as a first round bye in the conference tournament.
