KEENE, N.H. – The Colby-Sawyer women's swimming team fell in a 210-57 defeat at the hands of the Owls, on Saturday afternoon.

Lily Stinchfield (Sanbornville, N.H.), junior
Mary Steward (Saco, Maine), senior
Kelsey Brown (Douglas, Mass.), and junior
Nina Boudreau (Hallowell, Maine) started the afternoon off with a third place finish in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 2:07.41.
From there, junior
Cecilia LaFlamme (Hatfield, Mass.) and junior
Quinn Manion (Wesminister, Mass.) placed sixth and seventh respectively in the 1000 Freestyle with a time of 13:50.02 and 14:35.36.
Junior
Alyssa Brown (Douglas, Mass.) paced the Chargers in the Women's 200 yard freestyle ending up in seventh with a time of 2:24.27.
Stinchfield led Colby-Sawyer in the 100 yard backstroke with a 1:15.26 overall time good for sixth.
Steward finished fifth in the 100 yard breaststroke with a 1:15.95 result.
K. Brown recorded a third place finish in the 200 yard butterfly finishing with a 2:23.64 time, while A. Brown ended with a time of 29.37 good for seventh in the 50 yard freestyle.
The next event featured Stinchfield and first year Hannah McAloon (Berkley, Mass.) who placed eighth and ninth in the women 100 yard freestyle.
Senior
Lauren Berry (Dracut, Mass.) led the Chargers finishing seventh in the 200 yard breaststroke.
A. Brown paced Colby-Sawyer in 500 yard freestyle ending with a 6:41.20 time good for seventh.
Boudreau notched a sixth place finish in the 100 yard butterfly with a 1:11.09 time.
The Chargers picked up their only win of the day in the 200 yard individual medley as K. Brown finished with a time of 2:18.33.
Colby-Sawyer ended the day with a 200 yard freestyle relay ending in fourth and fifth place.
The women earned a total of 57 points opposed the Owls 207, brining them to 1-1 this season.
The Chargers dive back into things on Saturday, October 16th in the blue vs white team meet.
