NEW LONDON, N.H. – April 3, 2020 – For the fourth year in a row, Colby-Sawyer seniors Sarah Auer (Big Bear Lake, Calif.), Katy Harris (Breckenridge, Colo.) and Cody Wilson (Canyondam, Calif.) have been named to the National Collegiate All-Academic Ski Team, presented annually by the United States Collegiate Ski Coaches Association.

To qualify for the team, skiers must have a cumulative 3.5 grade point average and participate at one of three NCAA Regional Championships. This year's recipients come from 27 teams in all three regions in the United States. In the Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association (EISA), a total of 152 student-athletes were honored from 14 institutions. In the Central Collegiate Ski Association, a total of 47 student-athletes were honored from five teams and in the Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Association, a total of 92 student-athletes were honored from eight schools. 

Auer, a Business Administration major, was a top-6 skier for the Chargers all season, competing in each of the 12 EISA races throughout the year. 

Harris, a double-major in Exercise Science and Studio Art, turned in nine solid results in 12 EISA appearances. Her top finish was 31st in the slalom at Stowe Mountain. She had two other top-38 finishes in the slalom during the year. At the EISA championship, she placed 42nd in the slalom. 

Wilson, a Sport Management major, led the men's squad several times throughout the EISA slate. He finished in the top 41 in all six slalom races and was 30th or better on four occasions. Wilson posted his best slalom finish of the season at Stowe Mountain where he placed 23rd. At the EISA championship, Wilson led the Chargers in the slalom by finishing 30th.
