Athletic Director Mitch Capelle announced that Nick Penkala will be the new Sports Information Director at Colby-Sawyer College.

Prior to joining the Chargers, Penkala was the Athletic Communications Assistant at Merrimack College in Massachusetts.  There he handled all communication for four different programs, including men's soccer, women's basketball, women's swimming, and women's lacrosse.  As a newly formed Division I program, Penkala assisted with the Warriors transition to the Northeast Conference.

Before joining Merrimack, Penkala served as the social media and video production coordinator for the Nashua Silver Knights.  While with the Knights, Penkala was responsible for creating video content, as well as updating and maintaining the team's social media accounts.

Penkala graduated in December of 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in communications from Plymouth State University.  While at Plymouth, he assisted the sports information director covering women's tennis, and both soccer teams for the Panthers.
