NEW LONDON, N.H. – January 15, 2020 – The Colby-Sawyer men's swim team hosted Elms for a matinee meet at the Knight Natatorium Wednesday afternoon. Elms came away with a 109-59 victory.
RESULTS
First-year
Max Isley (Valparaiso, Ind.) started things off for the Chargers by posting a season best time by more than four seconds in the 200 freestyle. He clocked in at 2:00.00 to place second. Isley then registered another season best time in the 50 freestyle in 23.98 to win the event. He added a victory in the 100 freestyle in 53.61.
Junior
Garrett Scahill (Manville, R.I.) took top honors in the 50 backstroke with a time of 27.62, lowering his season best time by nearly a second. Scahill cruised to win the 200 backstroke in 2:07.36.
Senior
Tim Gablosky (Fremont, N.H.) lowered his 100 freestyle season best time by .68 to finish in 58.08. Gablosky added a second place in the 50 backstroke (31.61). He also was credited with a victory in the 100 IM at 1:09.70.
The Chargers hit the road this weekend to compete at the University of New England on Saturday at noon.
