BABSON PARK, Mass. - April 24, 2019 - The Colby-Sawyer women's tennis team fell to Babson, 9-0, in a regular season finale for both teams.
Babson improves to 13-5 and will play in the NEWMAC semifinals next week. Colby-Sawyer goes to 12-6 and will be playing in the NCAA Tournament in May. The Chargers will find out their opponent and location of the match on selection Monday, March 6 at noon.
The Beavers won all three doubles matches with 8-1 scores at No. 1 and No. 3 and an 8-0 score at No. 2.
At the top singles flight, Alexa Tutecky took the first set 6-0, but
Yashu Yang battled in the second before falling 6-4.

Amira Eid took five games from senior Alexandra Blizard at the six spot. Blizard won 6-1 and 6-4.
