LYME, N.H. – February 9, 2019 – The Colby-Sawyer women's alpine ski team took a short trip up I-89 to compete at the Dartmouth Carnival in slalom racing.
After yesterday's giant slalom was postponed to next weekend, the Chargers braced the windy conditions at the Dartmouth Skiway. Due to the dangerous winds, the lifts were not available making it difficult for the competitors to reach the start gate. Racers had to hike or were pulled by/rode a snowcat to the start gate. Colby-Sawyer finished 12th with 16 points.
