Box Score DUDLEY, Mass. - September 2, 2018 - The Colby-Sawyer women's tennis team fell to Nichols, 8-1, on Sunday afternoon. 

The Chargers drop to 1-1 and will return to action at home on Wednesday against Division II Southern New Hampshire. Nichols, the Commonwealth Coast Conference reigning champion and preseason favorite, improves to 2-0. 

Nichols swept doubles action with the top two matches finishing with an 8-5 score. 

Aislinn O'Connor was responsible for the lone Colby-Sawyer point with a gritty comeback win at No. 3. After dropping the first set, 7-5, O'Connor tied the match with a second set score of 6-3. O'Connor then won the third set tie break 13-11.
