WALTHAM, Mass. - September 12, 2018 - The Colby-Sawyer women's soccer team fell to reigning Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) champion Lasell 4-0 on Wednesday afternoon. After the field conditions at Lasell were deemed unplayable, the match was moved to the turf field on the campus of Brandeis.
Colby-Sawyer drops to 1-3 overall and 1-1 in conference action. The team will remain on the road with a Saturday match at Suffolk. Lasell improves to 1-3 overall and 1-0 in the conference.
The Lasers scored all four of their goals in the first half en route to the victory. Carly Zdanek notched a pair of goals, while Emma Papile and Paige Meissner added one each.
Oona Bond finished with an impressive 15 saves for the Chargers.
