NEW LONDON, N.H. – November 10, 2018 – Colby-Sawyer sophomore
Luke Rodarte (Truckee, Calif.) set a pair of pool and two school records in Saturday's meet against Maine Maritime at the Knight Natatorium. Maine Maritime edged the Chargers 93-84 to win the meet.

Rodarte began his record-setting afternoon by winning the 50 freestyle in a pool and school record time of 21.97. He broke the previous school record of 22.07 set by Wil McCarthy in 2007. Rodarte then smashed the 100 breaststroke pool and school record. He clocked in with the winning time of 57.94 to beat the previous mark of 1:00.32 set by
Justin Banos in 2015.
Rodarte also was part of the 200 medley relay team that took the top spot with a total time of 1:49.28. The other members of the team included sophomore
Garrett Scahill (Manville, R.I.), sophomore
Steven Moody (Gloucester, Mass.) and junior
Tim Gablosky (Fremont, N.H.).
Tim Gablosky earned the victory in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:12.52.
Garrett Scahill won the 50 backstroke with a season best time of 28.84.
Steven Moody came away with a pair of butterfly victories with season best times. He won the 100 in 59.54 and the 50 in 26.33 to win both events by more than four seconds.
The Chargers will travel to SUNY Potsdam next weekend to compete at the North Country Invitational.
