BOSTON, Mass. - January 13, 2018 - The Colby-Sawyer men's swimming and diving team returned to action, after more than a month off, with a meet against Regis held at Simmons College. The Chargers fell to the Pride 133-63.
RESULTS
Freshman
Garrett Scahill (Manville, R.I.) topped the field in the 50-yard backstroke for Colby-Sawyer with a time of 29.14, while senior
Mason Amitrano (West Greenwich, R.I.) placed first in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:01.30.
Freshman
Steve Moody (Gloucester, Mass.), Amitrano, senior
Chris Manwaring (Alstead, N.H.) and Scahill closed out the meet with a combined time of 1:43.82 to take the 200-yard freestyle relay.
Manwaring also came away with a second place in the 50 freestyle (26.05), while Moody was second in the 100 free (57.71) and 50 fly (28.72).
The Chargers will host Husson next Saturday.
