BANGOR, Maine - October 7, 2017 - The Colby-Sawyer field hockey team fell at Husson, 5-1, in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) action under the lights Saturday evening.
Husson improves to 6-3 overall and is tied atop the NAC standings with UMaine-Farmington at 3-0. Colby-Sawyer falls to 7-5 overall and 1-2 in the NAC. The Chargers travel to Mount Ida on Wednesday.
The Eagles scored twice in the opening 15 minutes on goals from Mikayla Toth and Taylor Shaw. In the 25th minute, Colby-Sawyer cut the deficit in half when sophomore

Paige Viens (Middlebury, Vt.) for eighth goal of the season.
Husson would add on to its lead with three goals in the second frame. Lauren Russell scored two straight goals for the Eagles early in the half, while Kolby Kain added the home team's fifth goal in the final seconds.
Freshman
Abby Ladd (Colchester, Vt.) had eight saves for the Chargers, while senior
Jesse Murch (Poland, Maine) added defensive save. Anne Marie Provencal made eight stops for Husson.
Husson held advantages in shots (25-14) and penalty corners (15-7).
