WENHAM, Mass. – The Colby-Sawyer men's swimming and diving team was edged by Gordon College, 115-107 on Saturday. 

RESULTS

The Chargers bookended the meet by winning both relay events. Mason Amitrano, Brett Cayer, Josh Paszczuk and Jameson Ploch combined to win the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:49.91 to begin the day and finished the afternoon by winning the 200 freestyle relay in a time of 1:38.06.

Paszczuk also took home multiple individual wins throughout the day. He posted the top time in the 50 backstroke (27.15) to win by more than two seconds. Paszczuk won the 100 backstroke by more than four seconds in a time of 59.56.

Cayer won a pair of events as well. He cruised to a victory in the 50 butterfly with a time of 27.15 and added a win in the 50 freestyle in a time of 23.83.

Amitrano was the third Charger to collect two wins. He clocked in at 30.52 to win the 50 breaststroke and took top honors in the 100 IM with a time of 1:01.96.

Ploch took the top spot in the 200 breaststroke by more than five seconds at 2:41.08.
